What equipment do you hire?
We hire all makes and models of material handling, access and earth moving equipment including forklifts, telehandlers, scissor / boom lifts, excavators and much more.
How do I decide if it’s better to hire or buy my equipment?
It really comes down to two main factors: how often will you be using the equipment, and how hard is the application you’re using it in.
If you are going to be working your machinery every day, 7-8 + hour shifts then you will get the benefits of the servicing being covered under the rental costs through the hire agreement.
On the other hand, for example, a forklift in a small warehouse only being used a couple hours a week would be more practical to just buy outright as you will get minimal hours of use on and it will last the life of your business with some routine maintenance.

Yes – absolutely! We specialise in all makes and models of forklifts, telehandlers and boom lifts.

Do you offer on-site servicing?
At OutWest Equipment Hire we provide our clients with on-site servicing, minimising any downtime or delays to their production.
What happens if I damage my rental equipment during the hire period?
All equipment is to be returned to OutWest Equipment hire in the state it was delivered in. All machines undergo a comprehensive pre-delivery inspection for safety and customer service purposes.
We understand that accidents happen, but any damages to the equipment will be charged to the client.
Do you offer credit?
We do not offer credit in-house. However, we can provide copies of contracts and equipment specs to assist you with organising your own private credit arrangements.
How do I choose the right equipment for my project?
We always recommend our clients organise an onsite inspection with one of our equipment specialists. We’ll go over your project requirements and goals, to ensure we provide you with the most appropriate machinery for your site and application.
